We contacted Home Physio and Rehab after my mother suffered a stroke and was left with significant weakness and mobility problems. At that stage, getting her out of the house and travelling to a clinic for physiotherapy was very difficult, so having someone come to her home was a huge help. Shraddha Parekh was excellent from the first visit. She was very patient with my mother and took the time to understand her condition, her abilities and the difficulties she was experiencing. She explained everything clearly and made sure that my mother was comfortable before starting each exercise. What I really appreciated was that Shraddha didn’t just give her a few exercises and leave. She carefully watched how she moved, corrected her when necessary and gradually introduced new exercises as her strength and confidence improved. She was motivational, positive and everyday she gave a new challenge to my mother to overcome. Stroke recovery can be frustrating, especially when progress seems slow, but Shraddha was always positive and reassuring. She also explained to us as a family what we could do between sessions to support her recovery. The home visits made a huge difference, particularly during the early stages when my mother was still very dependent on us. We are very grateful for the care, patience and professionalism shown by Shraddha. I would definitely recommend Home Physio and Rehab to anyone looking for physiotherapy at home, particularly for an elderly family member recovering from a stroke.

I signed up with Home Physio as physiotherapy was not included in me hip replacement package. A lucky accident (google search) and a very happy choice. In the past I've always had to travel to physio sessions and the home visit made life a good deal easier post-operation, particularly in the difficult first three weeks. Deepali impressed from the first minute. Thoroughly professional, she took me through my weekly routine with care. She spent time over each exercise to make sure that I was doing it correctly. She was supportive when necessary, but then made sure that I challenged myself. She supplied a new schedule after each visit, checked up on progress at the next meeting, corrected any mistakes on my part, and then worked on new exercises. If your mobility is compromised then Home Physio is a good option.
